Bangladesh Welfare Association serving the community for the last 28 years
BWAC are specialists on Welfare Benefit Rights such as Job Seeker Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support, Carer Allowance, Pension and Pension Credit, Housing Benefit and Council Tax, Child Benefit, Child Tax Credit etc want to cater for a 5 days a week drop in session in our own centre building. This will provide a great opportunity for the carer to receive the aid of translation service, help with filling in forms and making telephone to other service provider agencies and advocacy on a number of problem solving issues for our Carers. If the need arises we are willing to be flexible on opening times and our availability to our Carers.
the Bangladesh Welfare Association Croydon (BWAC) have been providing services for this disadvantaged community for the last 28 years help to relieve poverty, as in our constitution and Business plan (2012-2017). The main aims and objectives are providing Carers of welfare benefit rights through Advocacy, Advice and Information, Home Visits, Telephone, Sitting Services, Management of Breaks, Respite and Activities.
